How long will it take to get my stamp(s)?
A. This is a custom made product. Typical production time is one week.
Q.
I want to choose a differnt Icon
A. Any Icon you see can be placed on your stamp - just let us know when you
order which one you'd like.
Q. How do you apply the stamp?
A. We suggest
Dye Based ink pads (see below). Place the stamp on the ink pad and press down - when you lift it up off the pad blow
on it for a second (tell them you're putting magic on it - they love it) and then stamp your childs hand or inner forearm.
Rolling the stamp across the area also may produce a better image. Then blow on the spot (or have them do it).
Within seconds it's dry. If it meets with water within the first minute - it will fade but not come off. As
all ink pads are just a bit different - if you find that it does not dry straight away - you can blot with a paper towel or
napkin to insure that it's dry and will not smudge if you're in a hurry.
Q. What type of stamp pad should I use with my new
NotLostTot
stamp?
A. A Dye Based ink pad that is
clearly marked Acid Free and Non Toxic. We really like ASTD Approved Ranger Ink pads - "Archival Ink"
and "Ink It Up" both are Dye Based ink and quick drying. They temporarily stains the skin and are
resistant to several encounters with water. The ink can be removed with warm soap and water and parental
effort. Note: Pigment Ink will not work well with this product. (as they are alcohol based take longer to dry
and do not resist water). Most craft stores carry a variety of Dye Based ink pads and color selections.

Do you sell replacement stamp pads?
A.
We currently are searching for a vendor to product a stamp pad that would be perfect for our product. However,
we suggest visitng a local craft store to purchase a dye based in pad in a color that will show up best on your skin tone.
Your stamp comes with a stamp pad. If you store it upside down and in a zip lock bag it will last for years. It can
also be reinked.

I would like to purchase my own stamp pads. Where can I buy them?
A.
Arts and Craft stores often carry stamp pads. Remember you want to purchase a dye based ink pad
- not a pigment ink pad.

Q. When is the best time to use the stamp?
A. Whenever your child is going to be out in public: To an Amusement Park, the Beach,
a Mall, a Sporting Events, or Street Fair. Stamp your child's hand before they head off to a Play Date, to Day Care and
a School Field Trip.

Q. How does this product differ from other Child Safety Products
on the market
today?
A. It's a Semi-Permanent Ink Stamp on your child’s hand. It takes seconds to apply.
It will not fall off a shoe, get torn off a piece of clothing or not be heard in a noisy crowd. Temporary
Tatoos are out there too - but they take minutes to apply - our stamp takes seconds and you're out the door. You can also
have it in the car - no water needed to apply it.
NotLostTot stamps are FUN! Kids love stamps and
will remind you to stamp them before you leave the house.

Q. I'm concerned that strangers will see my childs' name if I put it on
the stamp - should I use my name, theirs or no name at all?
A. You
might consider using a light color - white dye based ink shows up on all skin types - but is more difficult to notice unless
you're looking for it. Additionally, children move their hands around a lot and they have small hands - it
would be difficult to actually see their name unless a stranger asked them for their hand and read the name. If this
is your concern - consider not putting a name at all, or placing your name on the stamp so that if your child does get lost
- an adult would call out your name: I have found "You".

Q. What is the best body part to stamp?
A. We like the back of the hand or the inner forearm. Someplace that if your child does not
speak - a freindly helpful adult would be able to see the stamp and recognize its intended purpose.

What color ink should you use?
A. Select
a color ink that will appear best on your skin tone. Blue, Black, Purple and White we have found
to be the best color choices for most skin tones.

Q. Will the ink used harm my child?
A. No, not if you use, as suggested a Non-Toxic
and Acid Free Ink Pad. However if you know your child is alergic to ink - this may not be the best product for you.

Q. Will the ink wash off?
A. The semi-permanence of the stamp will vary with different daily activities.
We have found that it stays on through hand washing, a dip in the pool or a swim in the ocean. If a child is determined
to rub it off before it dries- yes, it will come off. The initial bright impression will fade after it meets with water
- but it is still legible for its intented purpose. We suggest reapplying as necessary. It only takes a second.

is your return policy
A. Due to the nature
of a custom stamp - we only offer returns if the stamp or stamp pad is defective or has inaccurate date upon it.
We triple check each order for accuracy before it is made and again before it's mailed out.
